My screen is showing nothing but black, what is going wrong?

Screens by default will show black if there are no 'Display's added to its playlist for a particular time and this issue is often due to an incorrect setting of scheduling options.

To check and fix this issue log into the Menu-Cast Design Software and navigate to the Location Manager and proceed to click the thumbnail representing the screen in question. Carefully check whether or not a display is actually within the playlist, then check to see if a display is scheduled to be shown on that day, date and time.
